anyone run one of these drills, around the 1998 age model, gray tank not red.
Just wondering if there's any problem using one without a control box, I don't tramline anymore and it's landwheel driven. I don't own it and haven't ever used it hence the question. Thanks

No problem using without, although the control box is handy for warning if the hopper is getting low and depending on spec if the land wheel is not turning etc.

Put a camera in the hopper to check seed level ?
