KV plough synchronizing valve block problem

had two block go at around £900 each. The best way out of it is to chuck it in the bin and wire each ram into separate spools on a tractor. This works a treat with modern electric programmable spools
That would certainly sort out my prob as spoke to guy at kverneland and he sort of told me to check o rings etc which I have already.. thanks

I would try another kv dealer for a price as the blocks came down in price a couple years ago on ours there was a small piece of ram seal which was stuck in the flo restricted at the valve block which caused an intermittent turnover problem after that was found Rams began to creep in work Rams resealed and been fine for a couple of years . I think block for an ed was £600 to £700

Plough turnover valves are available from most hydraulic component suppliers, Flowfit, Granit, Kramp etc, simple valve connected to just the turnover ram would be around £200. The ones that turn and move the memory ram in sequence would be around the £400 .

I have had an Ld 85 with the same symptoms before. In the end it turned out to be the needle bearings in the headstock rather than the valve block.

They were breaking up which was causing more resistance when turning over. This extra resistance was causing the valve block to move on in the sequence causing it to pull the alignment ram in when it was half way over.

Worth a look before you rush to do the valve block.

@JohnDeere8530 There is a kverneland dealer in Ireland that will repair the blocks. He has put a lot of ploughs through his hands over the years and know them inside out. Those blocks can be quite troublesome. I can get his contact details if you like?
