When I last purchased some shares from Mark, the carriage cost almost equalled the item! There is no rush however, he is keeping them in stock from now on, and will be at the national in Somerset. He is no longer stocking the flat commercial share, those who want them will have to take the match item, thats why there is an extra hole in the illustrated share, they are wider, but will be trimmed to suit the application ordered.

You'd wonder why they didn't use a more recent share to copy.
First of all, they would have had to find an unused one! I dont think these shares can really be termed "copys", as I believe the tooling was made to original drawings. I believe the originals were forgings, not cast, they certainly dont grind or weld like cast does. I did enquire from Bridport Foundry as to the price of having some cast, that worked out to £50.00 each, but less for a bulk order.
The fact that there are different editions, all with the same part number explains how I have several, all of which have the bolt pattern in a different position in relation to the point!

That's a pity I could have loaned out a brand new one for a while. I got 6 sets just before they all dissappeared. Maybe I should get someone to copy it.

If they went to the bother of making them then they should have got it right. I'd say they were not cheap. As I indicated earlier I have a new set and would loan it to someone for copying. Anyone want to point me in the right direction.
