Hi . Is anyone useing a KV LO 85/300 with a hyd depth wheel ? If so are they any good and worth fitting ? We really want one to make it easier and quicker backing in furrows on headlands .

Ran one 6 years ago was fine for first 3 seasons but then started to fall to pieces by time we got rid of it at 5 years old it was a regular job welding it back up. Traded it all for semi mounted.

We have one on our 6f and yes a very good addition as like you say you can shallow the last time around on the back furrow and only end up with a very shallow rein

What was breaking the plough or the hyd wheel bit ?
The mechanism in the hydraulic depth wheel nearly bought another LO a couple of years ago to back up our main plough but wud of gone for the double depth wheel. Saying this speaking to Kverneland at cereals the said the newer hydraulic depth wheels are improved but I have no experience of them.
