Hello,

Looking at one of these machines, said to be a square and round bale wrapper,we have a fusion already. But our neighbour has bought a square baler.

I was wondering if anyone knew if you can wrap 6 stringers on one of these machines and what its maximum length can be?

Any info on this machine would be great!

Thanks!

Yes it will

Biggest problem is getting them off, if it tries to drop them on a corner then they fall onto the machine and get stuck, there is a setting to be able manually rotate the bale before dropping, just takes a few seconds.

Found it was much easier to use 5ft as max length, at 6ft you have to pick them up perfectly and if you are on a slope the will creep forward or back them touch the arm

Thanks! Very useful! So you want them to land a flat as possible?

When the arms are open a 4ft bale is reasonably tight so often we would drop them on their side so unless you drop them dead square to the ground the bales fall over onto the roller, or if you drop them the way they come out of the baler and say one side hits the ground with the other side 6 inches off then the bale moves sideways when it lands and ends up touching the roller, then when you pull forward to break the wrap.

So you can see the bale needs to be aligned with the ground before you drop it.
