hi can anyone tell me how far off centre should I set the cross bar on a 6 furrow kvernland semi mounted plough

I’m presuming conventional plough? Especially from your name - probably being from New Zealand?

Do you have adjustable front furrow width?

It will depend entirely on tyres and wheel centre width.

yes its a semi mounted BB85 with adjustable front furrows
so its not set in relation to the centre of the tractor?

Have you looked in the operators manual??
As mentioned, it depends on track width and tyre size.

what the book says if i understand it is adjustment ifof the sliderail and cross shaft can attain the correct working width of the first furrow however with larger ploughs if the pulling point is too close to the furrow edge the naturalside forces towards the landslide dissapears
so how do i work out where the clamps on the cross shaft should be positioned
in relation to the tyres it only says between 110 and 150mm

i find its not well explained easily confused which perhaps is why the original owner of our plough had set it completely wrong
