Well it's often mentioned (not to me luckily) but as you say not the same flair like a knob does.

Impressed with your language skills @JP1. You've obviously been taught the most important words. :D
I was taught by the Nunnetjes in Vucht!!! Like all languages you learn bad words, ordering a beer and asking if someone fancies a drink later first, don't you ;)

Don't mention the bad Dutch words though or certain members of the Muppet Show will all be along to test the boundaries and cry foul by a moderator (@TFF Mod )

Tot ziens

True you do don't you. Every Englishman that comes to Holland always say how much they enjoy that (English) swear words are allowed in Dutch national radio. Most songs contain some and they didn't even knew it. :p

It's also funny when the Dutch try to swear in English not American. My old boss would say F@ck Up not Off and was always p@ssed not P@ssed off.

If you can say "godverdomme" with such force to be effective, you can get the hang of swearing in English very easy. Hang around the entrance to Asda in Stowmarket and there are plenty of splendid examples :D:D:D:D:D:D

Sadly all the people over here get poisoned with American when they learn English. Even when it gets taught at school!

Seen my share of Asda in Stowmarket. Will stay clear I reckon. ;)
