That is far too sensible a view to be taken seriously.

I expect the Countess to be ridiculed before the year is out. 😉😉
OK, I'll start, Geordie is a good person, his good lady is not a good lady though, all she is interested in is money, and that doesn't make for a good person... perhaps she has had an epiphany... I doubt it.

maybe all right for her with fancy oil or gas central heating but trees are necessary for us to cut down for wood ,our only indoor fuel source .
But you maintain your wooded areas and hedges, and grow food in a more holistic environment than lobbyists for tree plantings want to think about. All to trees and leave them "faw naiiiiychah" and "carbon capcha" is the sum total of their thinking.

I don't suppose her place has no open fireplaces, nor no input from modern renewable energy sources.

Shame the interview is in the Telegraph. Headline skimmers who only read the Guardian will lump her wise observations in with climate change denialism, and other reactionary ignorance, that the Telegraph promotes.

It's not hers, it belongs to the family home, she is but an over privileged serf and big headed for it. I've had the chance to meet them both a few times. I very much like Geordie, he's a very genuine person.
