Lamb born with a hole in it’s back

Had a lamb born today with an open patch over its spine. It’s front end works fine but it was just scooting round on its bum in a big circle.

Obviously we had to put it down but I just wondered if anyone could shed any light as to what it was called or if anyone has had something similar.

I did wonder if it was but wasn’t 100% sure.

Had a calf with similar a few years back. She had no tail and only one tiny eye. She was able to walk and had suckled before I found her.
