Mod Note: The price tracker thread took on a new slant where the marketing of Lamb Burgers became the topic, this deserves a thread of its own. New thread started with relevant posts.

Had to pick lad up the other night as he was being dropped off by mate so agreed to meet at McDonalds just off a roundabout on busyish A road.
Not a place I generally frequent but jeez was it busy bearing in mind about 10pm. Could hardly get parked and as lad was running a bit late sat there for about 40 mins watching people coming and going, ok majority were under 25s but what surprised me was how many people were over 40, would have been a fair few over 60 too.
Think if it's like this all over country McD must put a fair bottom in beef market.

I didn't know they still did those, I agree, looks and sounds rank.
In all serious though, do you think pushing lamb burgers is what you really want? It's hardly going to add value to the carcass. The thing with beef is that there is a lot of lower value bits to get rid of. Most of the lamb is higher value roasting joints or chops.

Same here, there is a drive thru and there is always a queue of cars waiting to get food from 7 am to 11 pm every day of the week!
