It can walk fine on it's front legs but it's back legs aren't holding it up well, it can walk on them wobbly (like at start of video) for about 5 minutes but after that it lies down. Yesterday all my lambs were fine but today I noticed this lamb with this problem. It doesn't have any maggots on it,the lamb was treated for maggots, the lamb is 3 months old . She doesn't have swayback https://photos.app.goo.gl/kbnmevmXZM9BLv3c6 Https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZDWZ6V3UwCEnDqJX8

Have seen that in Texel cross lambs that are doing very well/growing very quickly.

In them it has been caused by an abscess on the spinal column. A course of antibiotics (pen/strep in our case) has sorted it.

We had one that sounds very similar - vet diagnosed a spinal abscess so gave it penstrep daily. It improved over a couple of weeks but went downhill after that so was put down this morning. Ate and drank fine - just couldn’t walk

Sway back looks the same but onset more gradual as weight increases. It is a spinal problem as front legs ok. Outcome will probably be the same I'm afraid.
ps why the beer kegs in the field?
