these are some suftex out of easy care ewes, the ewes were culls but didn’t sell because the price was to crap, so lambed them inside in March, hence the numbers.

Yes good, but I prefer to cross them to get a Lamb sellable dead or live

Also I hate shearing so the easy care suits me

I will take some of the outside flock later consisting of suftex, logos durno and meatlinc crossed with easy care

These have all been lambed outside in the last 2 weeks the ewes have had no hard feed bar rumivite type blocks.

I try to ring the lambs as soon as I can.

How hardy are the easy cares? Thinking of trying them myself.

There are easy cares and easy cares, but generally they are hardy, however don’t think they are welsh mountains or blackies. They will live off poor pasture but I have found they. Do need a bit of dry ground in a prolonged wet period.

Feet are alright but I do keep culling and it’s getting better. Like any breed really you need to breed them up or buy them from a specific seller who has what you want.
