Finished mine off tonight, guillotine gate fitted with anti Luce fittings, as it's too tall to fit in the trailer with it on. New stock board for floor and new digital bits all fitted. Rang em up tonight as I got baffled by the instructions, they talked me through it step by step, and got me sorted, very pleased with their customer service. @alliedweighing thanks!
Gonna weigh loads of lambs this weekend

What did you need to do setting it up? Ours just seemed to work when i plugged it in and turned it on? Havent weighed any lambs yet mind.

Can one be got that is shearwell hand held compatible or am I barking up the wrong tree

My Psion handheld, running Shearwell software, connects with my Easiweigh7 by Bluetooth. I read an EID tag with the Psion and it collects the weight from the EasiWeigh head unit.

My Easiweigh7 was working OK on a Pharmweigh suspension cell, so I imagine it could be made to work with any other make of cell too. The same Trutest head is now working fine with a couple of @Allied Weighing loadbars under the CombiClamp.(y) It needed a 'span calibration' for both, but fairly straightforward to do if you have the info.

IIRC the Easiweigh7 is the cheapest Trutest head that is Bluetooth enabled, and comes in at £7-750 (mine was on a grant;)).

Does the allied weighting setup work with Poison hand held EID reader etc as standard ?!

When I was new to EID stuff I assumed if one item was bluetooth enabled.....it would connect to anything else that was bluetooth enabled......how wrong was I

Psion (running farmworks) should connect to any bluetooth tepari or trutest weigh head at least

I got one of eBay, it was put on an really old crate, so a bit tricky to get it set up, but once we finally got it balanced it is great. What a difference it made. No more needle jumping all over the place.guy on the phone was a great help as well.
