Lamborghini electrical problem

Got the tractor back together, cab on etc but when I turn the key to start it the thermostart glow plug light comes on and the starter does nothing. Most other electrical stuff seems to work, and the dash lights up as expected. Battery voltage seems ok.
Going to recheck all the connections but just wondered what the glow plug signifies if it comes on in the normal non heated start position. Some kind of fault warning?

Found problem. Safety start switch wasn’t working for some reason. Carefully reassembled but doesn’t work.
The glow plug light comes on every time you start whether it operates or not.

Does it drive ok? Safety start switch works directly off the shuttle selector shaft. Can't think you could of assembled anything wrong with the shaft. Are the two multiplugs connecting cab to harness in good condition?

Yes thanks it drives well. The plugs seemed reasonable, though with hindsight I maybe should have given them more attention. The small rod that operates the safety start switch was in the gearbox when I reassembled it but I had removed the start switch and pulled the rod out a bit so the rod didn’t interfere with the selector shaft as it slid in. All seemed ok then I refitted the safety switch after I had reassembled gearbox. Now no continuity across safety switch terminals with selector in neutral though. Temporarily linked it out and engine starts.
Hydraulics are a bit noisy with entrained air but hopefully it will work through.
Thanks to you and others for your advice with this job. Would have been very much more difficult without it.

For the record the noisy hydraulics seem to be caused by air getting sucked in at slack jubilee clips each end of the short hose between the steering pump and it’s suction filter. Tightened up the clips and the buzzing noise from the steering system seems to have stopped. How they got loose is a mystery but presumably they just went slack over time.
