I got slated heavily for saying “cheap and effective” a few weeks ago....
I would say possibly codd? None of the hooves are erupting at the top? I would try jabbing 2/3 with betamox la and 2/3 with alamycin la, Mark them differently obviously so you know which ones are done with what. If betamox clears it but alamycin doesn’t then it’s codd usually.
Some people hate for hatin' sakes.
Usually the same ones who bang the drum "you get what you pay for" happily getting screwed by paying premium for a brand
Alamycin doesn’t touch codd but betamox does basically..
We know you don’t like Elanco but there’s no need to bring them into every thread!

Used OXYTETRACYCLINE to treat codd for years , until my vet went to a discussion group and was told AMOXICILLIN was better . I use OXY occasionally still as it is a much shorter withdrawalAlamycin doesn’t touch codd but betamox does basically..

Last year was our first outbreak of it in the ewes during tupping, we happened to have a annual vet meeting the same time and asked them, the reply was they didn’t have a clue and if we managed to cure it then let them know how.. through trial and error we found betamox worked and alamycin didn’t, footbathing every 3 days helped too mind!Used OXYTETRACYCLINE to treat codd for years , until my vet went to a discussion group and was told AMOXICILLIN was better .
