YAMS is a good show for any doubters out there. But more of a dealer rather than manufacturer event.

Lamma will be many times bigger I would think.

Both have there place in the agricultural calendar.
They all do iam sure!
Been to the 1st YAMS & it was all outside in that field behind the MART & it wasnt dry.
Mainly dealer based, just like the Midlands Machinery Show has become since.
The diff at the NEC is like night n day.
It out shines Newark & Peterbourgh by miles because of the fact its all undercover & Its January need i say more.

Don't think we'll be going this year, it's my birthday Tuesday and I'm tipping chickens for multiple beer tokens first thing Wednesday. We're pretty up together kit wise now and anything in the pipe line we pretty much know what we'll have anyway.

There's not a huge amount to see for small to mid-range farmer/contractors on some stands. Just the biggest most outrageously expensive they can get on the lorry.

I'm going on 2 and possibly 3 holidays this year as well, I find I look forward to things like that much more than new machinery.

doe's anyone know if you pre register will you still get your Noroso points even if you don't go?

I hope you do, otherwise the whole NOROSO scheme would be an absolute farce. Oh, hang on.....

Unfortunately I don’t go to enough arable based days out, so I am an awful sprayer operator.

I was hoping to have a (cheap) train trip over, but the first half of the week has already filled up with proper work instead.:(

Do you need to Register to get into LAMMA?

On the day or online... Not keen to be generating any more spam....
I didn’t bother last year, my mate did.
He answered loads of questions about his farm/buisness to get his pass online, I don’t think I had to give any more than name and occupation at the door, it didn’t take long at all.
I find it best to act thick.....I mean normal in these situations and the staff will do it all for you ?

In other words they don't want a big queue forming???
