Ooh, that's a controversial statement to make when there's so many on here from the South West!
I would be tempted to agree with him…on the off chance that you manage to eat one that is neither too hot or too cold; it just tastes like a peppery sausage roll but with no bite of a decent sausage 🤷‍♂️😂

Next year speak to the organisers and see if they can put all the stands your interested in in one hall to make it easier for you 😂
That’s sort of the point, I would rather have zones I could target or avoid, and then rather than walking around what felt like randomly, I could focus on finding and seeing suppliers I didn’t know existed.
I have no interest in forage equipment, but wanted to look at grain drying, felt there were likely a few stands I’ll have missed and I walked past lots of forage kit.

It wasn’t very logical. We tried to go up and down so as not to miss anything; one minute you’d be on an alleyway then you’d be walking straight through a stand. At least at Cereals it’s nicely in rows; it’s more spread out and there’s no livestock gear getting in the way 🤭
If you were there on day 1 I’d agree with you. Frankly the place was fairly overwhelmed with visitors. Not complaining about that as exhibitors, but even with double the staff we’d have still missed speaking to many in the stand. Day 2 was much more relaxed and still a decent crowd but you could speak to people without a queue waiting. I suppose a two day show is always busy on Day 1. Maybe something can be done to spread the audience more evenly over the 2 days.

You could have taken a pack up and a flask.
Or, at a large arean in a major city of a first world country, they could serve decent food. It doesn't have to be Michelin starred food, just decent, fresh food that's not been under a heat map for 3 hours. I've had some pretty decent food in motorway service stations on the continent, surely the NEC can manage it too

How hot were they?
They're normally forged in the fires of Mount Doom, and will melt the tiles off a space shuttle!
Yes I had mine a bit later and it was still boiling. Very good though, had a burger earlier in the day but that wasn’t as good. Anyway receipts from leaving home will all go into the business entertaining pot for the accountant to sort out

Went Thursday, enjoyed it, good day, we cocked up last year and missed plenty like many have said.

This time we managed to start one end and work our way up to the other end following one ‘side’ then back up the other side, then back up again kinda through the middle, was a much better technique and saw plenty but probably still missed a bit.

Tried to just see what we wanted and anything else was a bonus.

Do feel there is a big focus on all things bloody massive, who is buying this stuff and how many?!

Everything’s too big and heavy now anyway IMO Why do we need so much horsepower than we’ve ever had before? Soil structures awful, waters sitting around even when ditches have been cleared and drains working.. farm is looking the worst I’ve ever seen it. Big kit and rushing around definitely part of the problem
