Land leveller design

I’m looking to make a land leveller for forging out some old pastures and damaged areas of the field. That and levering of areas around building works and drainage etc. It needs to be able to go on the front or back of the tractor. As I’d like to put the leveller on the front and the roller on the back some times.

Was thinking of using an old 3M grubbed that’s got no tines as the base frame and using some I-beams and heavy box/angle I have kicking around. nitial thoughts are to make a box styler grader with I-beams to level and maybe a few angle irons as well.

Main question is would it be better to make them in a zig zag pattern to move soil from side to side or is straight better. Any other suggestions and lessons learned would be welcome.

I have attached a few pics for inspiration.
