Its got to be worth £20k, possibly £22k to retail off a forecourt to the right people at that mileage. There's no new ones available now, Toyota having decided not to continue importing the V8 which was a comparative sales flop compared to the very popular 100 series 4.2.

£19950 sounds better when selling privately though. It cost the best part of £50k new, but unfortunately it's not new, despite the low mileage.

The value really should come down to the underbody corrosion. At that age it could be rusty. All cars that have not been properly waxed up here are rotten at that age, even at low mileage. Down the country at that mileage it really should be black paint all down the chassis. If it really is mint, it wants hiding away by a collector. Having done over a couple of hundred thousand miles in 80 series and a couple of 100's in the family my experience is these things are built like tanks.. The engineering in them is superb and i'd say they are 25-50% stronger built than almost anything else. A genuine low mileage and rust free one is worth holding out for top money, over 20k i'd say..

I completely agree with this. I spent a long time looking for a LWB Nissan Patrol a couple of years ago, lots had rust on the MOT history so were ignored, went to look at a "mint" low mileage one and the underside was still rusty. Rust will kill this car long before the mechanical components fail. If it's truly clean underneath then it's probably worth £25k to the right person. If it's not then someone would probably still pay high teens for it.

It's a shame, I spent ages trying to find a truly mint Patrol or Amazon before giving up. Sadly I'm not in the market for a car right now or I'd want to have a look at this.

Might not be me sadly not enough beans but worth a thought .
As above the mileage is obviously awesome as is the truck but corrosion will be the issue I could end up with a low mileage one that is going underneath?
My 95 swb land cruiser has just failed first mot ! Bit of corrosion underneath .
I’m not moaning obviously !
I’d love it might be interested if I sell my pick up

Main problem with any vehicle that's been sat for so long is condensation in the exhaust boxes, it rots them out faster than daily use,, had it with mine as the previous owner only used it for towing a caravan once in a blue moon, it was stood the rest of the time,

My Land Cruiser Amazon has all its original exhaust at 20 years of age. Not a single part of it has been replaced, although the back of the main box was welded and braced some years ago due to a crack.

Worth £22k of anyone's money. A new vehicle today in that class would cost north of £80k, except there are none as well built as this for sale in the UK any longer.

To be honest that wood is a bit naff. Mine looks almost the same except I have a Pioneer touch screen nav/head unit doudle-DIN with hands-free [there was just a radio and CD multi changer fitted when mine was new, single DIN with a little shelf underneath], and the wooden parts are high quality mat-black plastic. Of course I have the four speed automatic while that has a five speed, or maybe even six by end of production :scratchhead: It still looks like new inside at 20 years of age. I still haven't got round to sorting the brake booster and stuff out and now doubt I ever will. It has been parked up for a year now.
