LandLine to Mobile Divert

Anyone used Smart Numbers or Similar?

I'm after a Local Landline number that Diverts to my mobile for another business

Other alternative is a cheap sim only on and and an elceapo phone but that means 2 phones on the go.

Cost wise they look the same at around 5-6 per month.

We use a VoIP phone system for our office number which comes with a 'softphone' app that you have on your mobile and/or computer enabling you to answer the office phone anywhere. Handy when I work 300 miles from the office!

Just the same here BT voip account. App rings my mobile for calls to my home/office number.

TBH I hardly ever use the landline these days

I work from home or anywhere.. All business is via my mobile. I've an offshoot to my main business about to come to life and dont want either to be associated by the same number.

I've a landline with EE at home which I dont want linked to either business..

Basically it is phone over the internet rather than a phone line. Most providers will try to sell you a handset that you plug into your router but most have a softphone option where it is just an app on your phone or computer just like Skype. They have call packages much like mobile phone contracts. Because it is internet based you can take a geographical number anywhere

We use https://www.localphone.com/ to give us a local number to associate with any number in the world that we like - it seems to work reasonably well.

Went with Tamar in the end.. Local landline number for £4.99 per month with 2500 diverted minutes. No mimimum term I'll probably add the call whisper so I know what the calls about before answering.
