LAPTOP PROBLEM WITH GO PRO

Junior has bought a Go Pro MAX 360 camera. It can create 3D video by putting two images together. Editing works with his phone (Samsung A50) but not on his laptop. Loads files but cant work with them, just crashes app. Laptop is lenovo running windows 10 pro with i5 2.4Ghz processor and intel 5500 graphics card with 16Gb of RAM. Have tried everything on the settings etc and cant get it to go. As a last resort loaded the app onto the farm PC and it is able to do it no bother Its an Asus running windows 10 pro with i7 3.4Ghz processor and intel 530 graphics card and 16Gb of RAM.
Any ideas as to why the laptop won't do it? Is something underpowered?
