Large scale theft by Starmer.... land crash inevitable??

i came across a tik tok video done by Gareth Wyn Jones yesterday in which he said hes hearing it across the board...labour are now intent on removing IHT relief on farmland, to effectively capture a chunk of all land owners wealth,

any farmers who die owning their land during labours term in government will be forced to sell a portion of land to cover the IHT bill, this this will surely lead to a fairly substantial drop in land values? 20-30%?

i thought he may have been making this up for views but researching has led me to believe this labour party is far more extreme than first thought, it seems they are coming for everyones wealth and blaming it on the tories putting the country in a deficit, starmer has said those with the broadest shoulders should bear the heaviest burden, the core labour voters will back this move 100% ive been reading a lot of their comments online

also anyone with a 2nd home will have over 50% capital gains tax to pay, larger ni contributions out of their rental income
iht threshold for everyone else to be dropped to 125k

I am not suggesting that Labour are going to do anything good but FFS! all this speculation is getting ridiculous.
Russian propaganda couldn't be more disruptive than everyone gossiping and spreading rumours the way they are at the moment.
Wait until the budget and deal with what we have actually got rather than all this shite.
I even wonder if all this isn't being spread by Labour themselves so after the budget the majority will say Oh well that wasn't as bad as we were expecting.

Most labour voters (who actually admit to it on Twatter) are saying they wished they never voted for them. One chap locally, an old stone waller who had a Labour sign in his garden turned up in the yard the other day to see the mechanic, had the pee taken out of him remorselessly, asked how his winter fuel payment was coming along..... Needless to say he didn't stay long.
The greed within the party will destroy it internally, it's all about the perks and money for them, nothing to do with public good.
I don't reckon he'll last till Christmas.

Taxing the wealthy rather than the poor? What a novel idea!

The reality will be that landowners will transfer their land to the next generation to avoid tax and second home/btl ownership will reduce-perhaps even to the point where locals can afford to buy.
