Afternoon all,

I was wondering if anyone with recently-ish Lelys could send me a PM about the following:

We visited the idea of robots a while ago when the grants were out. We left the idea but from what I remember the quotes being flung around were the best part of £300k for two top spec robots, collars, buffer tank etc. etc. Fully installed.

Having looked at parlours and almost decided on that, we thought we’d just double check robots aren’t viable and now they’re saying less than £250k.
My question is, how much did you pay before any grants etc.? Is 250 realistic or are they just trying to reel us in? Or were they taking the Mick with the first price because they knew the grant was about?

Thanks

Ask them to sharpen their pencil some more, I was a lot less than that per robot even when they knew the grant was available.
