Lely machinery

Anyone know the future of lely branded products like the lely welger balers ect i know they have been took over by agco was thinking of changeing the welger but dont know weather to buy anothef if they stop badgeing them as lely welger might make more sense to buy a mf

Yea seen them badged as a mf and fendt was wondering which one will have the best resale value in 5years time sounds stupid as there all the same machine but its a crazy world we live in lol

Obviously the Fendt one will have the best resale value.I always said I would like to own a Fendt one day, this may be my best chance.

It’ll be interesting to see if AGCO continue to develop the Welger round baler.

I think less will be sold in total
In the UK in MF/Fendt colours and this trend will continue until it drops off the market...

I see they have already changed the fixed chamber balers. They now have a different type of latch on the door that can sense pressure independently on each side so you can ensure the Bale is filled equally. No more excuses for dodgy shaped bales!

People said the same when Lely bought Welger, plenty of improvements since then including the camless pickup, and AGCO are already improving it,independant latches and presumably a new control box, still in front of McHale IMO.

I have a lely storm forager and I still have not managed to find out if they are still going to be produced. Anybody have any idea what is happening with the forager factory?
