Lemken drill ( stones stuck in discs )

Hi guys , running a lemken solitair 9 4m , has done 6750 acres still on original discs . The problem I'm having is small stones getting between the discs and jamming them stopping them turning or rubbing holes in the plastic seed distributors. Anyone had similar ? How long do you get out of the discs ? Thanks in advance

Have you taken any of the shims out between the discs. Theres usually a thick washer or two in the back of the discs, can take some of them out and it tightens the gap between the discs up.

Hiya , have taken out 1 of the 2 washers on each disc last year , it was very tight with both washers removed

Can safely say never had a problem here our stones are just two big?‍

Had exactly this with ours as old discs wore and one season few years ago it drove me nuts. I swore blind I wouldn’t have twin disc setup again.. . Then I fitted new discs and couldn’t believe what a difference the new discs made
