Biggest problem with lemken disc drill in heavy wet land is there's too much overlap on the discs as the front one's pick it up and jam the rear ones better if it's a 6 inch spacing but not good on 4 inch

Also power harrow tines are pretty expensive compared to some othert

Looks familiar the Kuhn does it sometimes as well but usually you really shouldn't be in the field!!
It's not as bad as it's a longer stagger between the two sets of discs
Friend of mine got a kuhn and says it’s good, I’ve now gone to alpego, that’s fantastic for non blocking for trash, mud, and lumps, I’ve drilled just over 2300 acres with it and I’ve not blocked once, and I’ve drilled some Horrid stuff

Yes I did, only reason the drill got changed is we wanted to go to 4 meter folding,to get more output, sulky was to big and heavy and a lot of money more, found what I think is the next best thing....alpego! And it’s has Not let us down, good even seed depth, dairy farmers like it for grass seed coz it’s 12.5cm spacing, being a contractor sometimes your asked to do things that you might not want to do or if it’s a wet fields you might not get another change to drill it, it’s not let’s us down on that, the sulky would get mud stuck in the discs and stop them from going round or get a bung up in the stagger of the discs, but with the alpego I’ve not had on blocked colter, no bungs ups, mud didn’t stick to the disc so much, if it doses it just seams to fall off! Very happy with it @Warren.Alpego

No offence but I would be out the field if it was as wet as the photos.
It was a over night shower of rain on top of some clay, went out with are vaderstad drill to finish the field off as the Lemkin kept bunging up, just not enough distance in the stager of the Coulter’s,
