Lexion spreading chopped straw badly

We have a 770 and it generally spreads well. Now and again in certain conditions, such as now with really dead straw, it drops a band of chopped straw down the centre line of the cut. Has anyone else had this? Or done a modification to try and get over it?

On my 15 plate 770 go to the chopper menu, and then in there there is an option to adjust where the trash is deposited, on a scale of -3 to 3. 0 drops too much in the middle so I have it set at -2 with a 10.5m header

Having another look it seems because it is so fit there is a lot of broken straw coming over the sieves and over loading the chaff spreaders. I’ll have a check of the chopper menu in the morning.
