Looking for advice on a 272, can’t get any good of the rear lift arms, have had the rear end apart and nothing obvious at fault, wondering is there anyway of diagnosing if the pump is at fault, you can hear it trying to pump.

How’s things, all that does is lock the lift arms in place, they’re sitting down at the moment and unable to get them back up.

Is the pto hand clutch locked back, as this stops pump drive,
So is the pto working as it should, ,
Other thing is there is a bolted coupling in backend, think there is 6 bolts in it, if they shear, no pto or hydraulics, again check pto is working,

If we manually lift the arms and lock them into place we can then unlock it so this isn’t the issue that round thing is working perfect,

Yeah pto is working perfect no issues what so ever working off the handle as it should

Is there 2 extra spool valves on it if so the oil goes from the pump to them first and the relief valve is in it there are 2 flexible pipes from the rear end to the valve block if fitted the wrong way around .
If fitted the wrong way the pump cracks on first pull of the levers
