BPS nearly gone, SFI announced today not worth the aggravation on an all grass farm. what’s the plan going forward for those of us producing food from cattle and sheep?
Mine is to reduce spending to an absolute minimum which won’t do the local economy particularly support industries already in recession any good and hope that a Labour government weakens the pound and makes food imports more expensive thereby boosting returns for home produced food.
Do away with any ‘environmental areas’ because every square metre will have to earn its keep. The internal hedges will have to take their chances because protecting them from the cattle is expensive and non productive.
What’s your cunning plan?
