Has anyone have any experience of light tubes? I have an en suite shower room without a window. The roof is supported on gang nailed roof trusses, so a tube would have to fit between them.
We have one in a bathroom without a window, the bathroom did have a velux before we put an extension on which landed right slap in the centre of the valley joint. It’s fantastic at lighting the room, the only bit is it’s price. everything came to nearly £500 as we used extension tubes as recommended by builder to get the glass dome on the back of the house to avoid being an eyesore. When the glass piece eventually turned up it was a lovely flat piece that matched the slates so could of being fitted anywhere. My fault for not looking into it properly myself due to all other things going on at same time.
