Coded padlocks for a multiple access barrier on a byway keep being stolen thus leaving the route open to all. The idea is users register their vehicle and personal details in return for the code number, indelibly the number ends up on sm pages etc etc. The system isn't a problem, if a non registered vehicle is caught then the police have right to seize. Problem is the locks regularly get taken, we've tried attaching to a chain without much luck. anyone got a suggestion, made or seen how we can overcome issue?

Utility company fitted something like that (10 lock version) on a gate they put in on a compound we had stuck in a field.

Really good bit of kit.

They never added any padlocks..

Hmmm, battery, solar/ battery back up, there will be varying qualities as well, none will be 100% ideal & you can guarantee the most suitable will inevitably be the most expensive...............there is going to be some sort of faff, I guess its a case of how much is acceptable
