Livestock farmers unite, we have a PROBLEM!!!!

After reading defras new ELMs scheme i was shocked at the exclusion of livestock farmers to most of the payments but the penny has finally dropped, someone has messaged me on here to say that @Janet Hughes Defra is infact ........a vegan, if this is true a serious investigation needs to be done into the rest of these civil servants

She is a real person, I don't know much about her but there was another Janet Hughes who fought against the FM cull in 2021, so maybe it's case of mistaken identity

Let's say Janet is a vegan. So f@cking what. Show me any evidence you want that ELMS is anti-livestock farming. On the contrary, there's going to be huge incentives for large arable enterprises to introduce grazing to their mix. Which may well be anti-upland, and anti-small, but anti-meat ? Nah.

Perhaps, perhaps not.

It is a reflection of the concerns of some UK farmers in response to HMG cavalier policy.

Should have been nipped in the bud many months if not years ago.

If people can be motivated to form Co-ops it would be a great thing.
