Lleyn females

Looking to buy a few more Lleyn females during September, I'd like to go to Ruthin but can't make it, looking to buy off farm, anyone got any recommendations for flocks to look at?

I'm in North Wales but would be happy to travel anywhere from midlands up to the borders.

Didn't you ask the same question last year?

I still think Mr Lionel Organ of Llandysul has the best-looking pedigree Lleyns in the Principality....his sales outlet will be Carmarthen sale, so I know he's got plenty available.

Yes I did @Walterp and I purchased some privately closer to home, just thought I'd see what names come up to try some different breeding.
Saw some of Mr Organ's shearlings and rams at Carlisle and Ruthin last year, very nice they were too.

Julie's off to Carmarthen to get bid up on another tup, and some females, so we'll see what's about then - I don't know how the other, bigger, sales are going but Carmarthen last year wasn't very buoyant (except, of course, for Organ stock and some from teulu Price, Lampeter); the entries are bigger this year, but sentiment is hardly better (I think, but that's just me) so we'll have to see.

But...to prove that even pedigree breeders don't always get what they aim for, we saw the great man good-humouredly offloading some very off-beat Charollais tups in NCE that obviously weren't suitable for the bigger venues. He had three, one too short, one too tall, and one that went for £250 that looked great to me and was, to me, a genuine bargain. Wished we'd bought him, now.

No idea what Julie'd do with a Charollais, mind you, but I suspect a cross with a Lleyn wouldn't be at all bad.

I have a feeling Ruthin will be expensive on Monday, but can't go, Carlisle was expensive last year. Ended up buying females and a tup privately.
Went to Bronallt for a tup, flock 50, very pleased with him!

Managed to make it to Ruthin today, with the help of my 3 girls we came home with 10 nice shearling ewes, couldn't stretch to Lionel Organs bunch but maybe next year!
Anyone else there?
