LLoyd Fraser milk haulier gone bust

Can’t help but feel for the drivers the three regulars we have are great guys, Imagine waking up to a job you no longer have 😩
Unfortunately I don’t think it would have been a surprise to many of them. A mate who’s milk is picked up by them has been saying they’re likely to go bust for several months, information picked up talking to the tanker drivers so must have been a worrying time for a while for them, but nonetheless still a blow when it happens.

Without milk coming in the dairy companies haven’t got a buisnesses so this will need sorting pretty swiftly and whoever picks up the pieces will need experienced drivers so hopefully most if not all of them will in effect get to keep their jobs but none the less will have had the stress of it all and most likely will have lost a chunk of their wages for the week, month or however they are paid, not nice if you’re in a secure financial position, it will no doubt be tough for some.

Some parked up with milk still on board from what I read.
That'll be fun in a few days. 🤮
Our milk was picked up a few hours late, although our milk isn’t picked up by Lloyd Fraser, sound like the wagon had been diverted to pick up milk out of a Lloyd Fraser depot as I understand they do pick up some milk for my milk buyer. I got the impression that it was a bit of a rush job as once the receivers got there they weren’t making life easy for anyone, talk of drivers having to prove ownership of their own cars before being allowed to leave, just the sort of sh!t you don’t need on a day like that
