I remember Shone's of Buckley carrying bricks but that would be in the 80's, from the link I posted a Shone family owned one of the brickworks so I suppose some connection
The Tunnel cement works became Castle cement (is there any connection there, although it's now all owned by Hanson)

Think my Uncles family were something to do with the Shones carrying bricks.

When I read your link I thought maybe a connection with Tunnel Castle.

15 fat ones at 700kg = 10.5t. Maybe 6t of trailer but I doubt it, more like 5.

I wouldn't mind it ,but the back seems to overhang the axles alot and so would certainly swing when turning

It's tandem axle and 31ft long box. I'm sure all these things were borne in mind when they asked Plowman to make it
