True, nice to look at though, but I imagine they would be a PITA to drive on normal haulage work hence why they aren't being made any more?
Another problem is they are over length . You either have to pull a 40 ft or run under special types . Pity they don't import or make them any more . I could have been tempted to buy one . The days of running old wagons is over . Well for me anyway

Not sure what the ins and out are but I read elsewhere that larger cabs would be possible due to a change in length laws. Whether that is overall length, unit or trailer I am not sure. Hopefully it's unit!

With cars I find some colours suit some models better than others

Perhaps it's the scale of truck cabs but I still notice the cab shape first and don't think there is a "wrong" colour for them. I prefer less blingy but it's amazing how different paint liveries can alter your perception of any particular truck type

JP1.....you should be building overland trucks to carry 30 people......not much different to animals!
Being an overland driver is an amazing job - it would suit any farm person who has a HGV licence, an empty passport and enjoys living life day by day so to speak.

I had this Scania 93 doing Rwanda to Cape town several times for Absolute Africa and then the 6x4 MAN in South America and Middle east for Kumuka.
There must be some overland drivers hiding on this forum somewhere! It was the best 5 years of my life.

Thanks. Is the Scania 93 just raised or is a 4 x 4 conversion?
