Loader tractor options

Will be swapping the main tractor which is an R series John Deere for a new one with a loader on in March

have always had john Deere but have had PM’s with a member on here who has high praise for the valtra

have been to see a valtra today and I was impressed, would also consider a fendt if they were in line price and px wise

options are
John Deere 6130 M
Valtra N134
Fendt (130hp)

never had any problems with JD at all so happy with that

any preferences as a main tractor with loader just for plonking bales on the trailer

Love my valtra Trima loader with control on the armrest and just leave it in auto when doing loader work and never touch the gear stick

Valtra loaders same as trima /quicke just different badge

My dealer ordered what he thinks right for me hardest choice is what colour

I have a Valtra n113 hitec 5 with a mx loader on good fit up.
You don’t need to clutch for loader work if you don’t want to it has different settings on the gearbox you choose

They were saying red was standard colour and if you wanted anything different it was £700 odd more, Is that correct ?

Wish I got my N4 Blue Like my old one.. went for grey and it looks really good clean but it’s never clean

Yea somewhere there I asked about orange. Was told that was 6k soon decided metallic blue would do

Isn’t the resale value of a valtra poor compared to other brands especially jd ?

The Valtra is a brilliant loader tractor. The turning circle is outstanding and with the tiny steering wheel and the option of fast steer ( half a turn is full lock) make it really nimble. Spec the vario box as well.

Yes that's correct. The flat red is standard then £700 for the other colours unless it's a truly bespoke colour then you are into the thousands. To change the wheel colour is around £900 from memory.

Went with the intentions of looking at the G series but was not that impressed by them....the N series was much better quality
