Have a jpm 19t low loader had it for a few months to move a volvo ec140 about. Not tried to put it on to the trailer until tonight.

Tracking machine up the ramp and the trailer pivots on the ramp feet that supposed to keep the front picking up and lifted the McCormick up in the air.

Got it on ok but same thing happened when unloading.

Is it possible geometry on the trailer is wrong or just crap.

When you drop the ramps how far off the ground are the feet when trailer is empty? Could your tractor PUH be a little lower than usual? Is the trailer drawbar adjustable? Maybe you just need to coach bolt a piece of 4x3 timber to the feet?

There prity much touching the floor it's like the kick out with weight on. Trailer drawer is sprung

Did your ramps fall down enough then so that the feet are actually taking the weight rather than acting like a pivot, it’s hard to describe intill you watch what happens when a trailer is loaded

Be careful of the actual weight of diggers, they are hardly ever what the model leads you to be leave they are. For instance a 13 ton JCB can be up to 15 tons in working condition with the bucket on

Definitely on max weight with digger and trailer combo only one bucket. Tractor was scratching on a prity sever up hill corner

Just a thought but maybe way off the mark! Presumably the ramps have single acting rams for lifting only? Would the spool lever have been left in float rather than returned to neutral when the ramps were dropped? If left in float,it would allow the ramps to pivot as the weight goes forward but if in neutral or hold, they would be locked and therefore preventing the front from rising.
Or not..........?

You'll get used to it after a while

I borrow an old herbst and loading a 312 Cat it's similar not to the point of the tractor being off the ground but the front of the trailer is very light
