No there are quite a few models , this model is 6 cylinder 115hp ir there abouts … smaller two wheel drive ones as well , this is 4x4 and biggest before they changed to pivot .

Seen quite a few two wheel drive ones but never a four. Very well built and very reliable machines

Everyone says they are good machines which is rare , a few folk complain they aint nice to drive but im not that bothered about that sort of thing, im more concerned about reliability and depreciation of which i hope this will appreciate a little anyway hopefully . If it proves to be reliable and do for me what i hope i wont be shy at spending time and money on her to make her the best she can be .

I keep getting told that volvo for the this model 841 changed engine to a D60. They say the 840 has a D50 engine but google says 841 has D50 ? Dose anyone know how i tell how i will identify the engine model ? Shes not delivered yet as currently doing a round trip of England on lowloader before she comes back north , so if you see her give her a wave

its going to be my main loader hopefully do 1000hrs a year ! If i dont buy another couple just to have an implement on each and spares in case ones off sick but i will have to see how i get on with tit first .

Torque converter with power shift . I only do about 3 hrs a day but everyday

What year is it? 74 onwards should be D60 Early 841s had the D50

I think the eary ones were d50 but changed the later ones are d60 , mines a later one 1978.
