Hitting hurdles with the bank at this stage maybe is a tricky one. What if you've got loan repayments and milk goes sub 16p?[/
Is this for jersey milk as your username suggests ?Milk contract guarantees 21p
I personally would not have any confidence in a guarantee from a milk buyer...they can wriggle out of anything, and you will be able to do nothing about itMilk contract guarantees 21p

Hope that is a minimum price for a short period
Out of block spring calvers will be better value than some , I was in a lucky position to buy young good cows , but wouldn't worry about age or 3/4 in the summer if budget requires
What system are you hoping to run @Jerseytom ?
Where you based ?Mostly grass based system! In the form of zero grazing and then top up with silage!
Definitely agreePlenty of dispersals about, go and buy the 3 titters, swingy bagged(not high cells) you'll get 3 for the price of one, they just won't be pretty but the milks worth the same, and you might not need the bank or have any loan payments.
