The barley in this area is toppling over everywhere ours included .
Is this happening in your part of the world and with tomorrow's high winds and rain forecast in some areas it could be a good year for the pigeons and rooks!
Ours has had the same treatments as every year and no really bad storms on it so far.
So it must be down to this seasons growing conditions.

  2. Any spare rain, with or without wind, gratefully accepted here.
Don't see any barley down in the locality, but not much grown.

Desperate for a drink here too .
Looking at it we will probably miss it tomorrow.
Burning on the lighter stuff but the heavier stuff still ok.

Still mostly up, even where the pig sh!t was caked on. Less pgr due to awful spring rather than choice. Hybrid seed. Heads look pretty small.
