Can any of the weather experts give an idea of when the weather may improve a bit ? Read an article today saying there is going to be a mini heatwave from mid april due to a "spanish plume" i think ! Any better news on the horizon ?

If they had told us as farmer's that the last 9 months would have been all but constant rain with hardly any let up I think most farmers would have quit farming in one manner or another so maybe best not to know too far ahead.

Go have a read .. www.netweather.tv in the model forecast section, you just need the main 3 to show the same progression but anything over 96 hrs is "pie in the sky".but can pick up a trend. Anything in f1 is just fantasy. For longer term look in " stratosphere output, MJO output

I forgot about april fools day ! I was just getting hopeful after working in the rain for what feels like years !

A Spanish plume at the moment would consist of rain and snow, orange snow at that.
