Takes me back to early 80's when I took a relief job ploughing in Hertfordshire .
Drove into the yard on my first day and there was a Ford TW25 in the yard with a 5 furrow plough on .
I had never seen a tractor so big and certainly didn't get them over this part of the country back then .
Round here if you had a 4 furrow plough you were rare !
First field I ploughed was bigger than our farm !
Our neighbour won a MF 699 tractor in 1980 (I think)in a FW competition and I remember him saying to dad "it's one thing having a huge tractor like this but I've got nothing big enough to go behind it!"
