Hello all,

I am looking to rent or ideally buy a small piece of land (about 6 acres) within a 30 minute drive of my home in Loughborough, Leicestershire...so Leicestershire / South Nottinghamshire / East Derbyshire.

I want to use is for weekend "Medieval camping" for up to 20 people at a time. (All tents, no permanent buildings erected).

Couple of paddocks for sale along the A512 towards Thringstone? Think they might be a bit big though.

I would have thought 90k + for 6 acres of paddock land! A lot more if developers can use it!

Yes, I hear what you are saying. I am happy to rent in the short term...and I wouldn't mind land that was "characterful"...so with a stream...or trees...or other characteristics that make it less appealing for developers. The reason for the size is to allow for an area of about 350 yards to shoot longbows.
