Looking for Bee Hive sites in Gloucester / Cheltenham area

Hello, I hope I am not intruding. I am a full time Bee Farmer based in Cheltenham (GL51 4UP) and operate a Bee Farming business breeding bees, producing honey and running pollination contracts.

We are desperately looking for potential new sites for bees due to expansion ideally within areas of Oil Seed Rape, Beans or even Borage, secluded with 4x4 access.

We ideally place 20 hives per site that are spread over 5 pallets with a metre or so gap, a lot of our sites are corners of fields that are uncut or fenced off south facing.

Is anyone out there able to help us? We ideally need to keep our travel to around a 10 mile radius of Cheltenham due to the weekly inspection routines required in the season (April - August). We are happy to offer honey as payment for helping us out as well as the benefit of free pollination of your crops.

Thank you in advance,
Dan

Hi Dan. Would apple orchards work as a site?

Yes, this could be suitable, where are you located? Thanks :)

We have bees swarming round a old stone shed on the farm.
Who will get rid of them for me? Based in dursley area.
If you contact your local bee keeping association (http://www.stroudbeekeepers.co.uk/) someone will likely come to remove them, as this is my full time job I would have to charge for such a service whereas hobby bee keepers will likely do it for free.

Hi Gone Shooting, unfortunately it is too far for us to consider.

Thanks unlacedgecko, I will give them a call over the weekend.
