Looking For Work Looking for Job - Gloucestershire

I'm looking for a job on a fairly big farm. I'd prefer to work on an arable farm as tractor/combine/sprayer operator. I do however have sheep experience and have worked as a shepherd on a mixed farm when there has not been arable work.

I've a real interest in organic farming and direct drilling, finding some of the threads on this forum really interesting.

I've experience on a wide range of farms and a wide range of kit from modern classics to modern machines. I used to have certificates for handlers, PA1, 2, 2A, 2C, but they were pre the changes where you had to re-test every number of years.

I'm hugely experienced with electronics and ISOBUS, GPS and Precision Farming. I'm also a competent mechanical engineer and can weld. I have a National Diploma in Agricultural Engineering and an HND in Agriculture.

I'm experienced in managing people and projects and process's. I'm competent at writing risk assessments and method statements to satisfy HSE.

For years now I've worked in Agriculture and related industries but as office / inside based and I've come to realise that I miss working in the outdoors. Hence this advert.

Please contact me by PM if you have anything that you think might be of interest. I can then provide a phone number so we can chat or I can come and meet you.

Thank you

Tom
