Hi all,

New to the forum.

I'm looking for a farm to partner with in order to excavate a lake with and open a wake park.

I want to open a wakepark in the bromsgrove/kinver/kidderminster area I'm looking for a piece of farm land to excavate a 200mx100m lake. I'm aware of the planning permissions involved and the fact that the land is most likely green belt but I know that it is possible on green belt land. I'm looking for a forward thinking farm willing to either rent or sale a piece of land.

This is a photo of a wakepark that has been excavated on a piece of farm land in green belt.

Kind regards,

Think you will find its not as simple as that. They have tightened up the rules in the reservoir acts so that new lakes are more difficult to form. You may have more luck finding a disused gravel pit.

Thanks for the reply John,

I appreciate that it will be tricky but people are managing to do it across the country each year.

Just so I can get more educated on the matter can you link the specifics on the reservoir act?
