Lube for chains - particularly small square baler

Hi

Preparing a Deutz Fahr HD560 small square baler that hasn't been used in 2+ years. Anyone recommend a good lube for all the chains that doesn't attract too much dirt.

……and there are a couple of different grades of chain oil, some stickier than others.

The manual for our round baler says to use chainsaw bar oil in the auto lube . Yes a bit of dust sticks to it ,but the oil stays on the wearing surfaces

I use spray on stuff at the end of the season but never use any during the season so dust doesnt stick and become grinding paste

Awkward areas to access, I have always used motorcycle chain lube. You can get a dry lube as well which is good for dusty areas...

Day to day machinery chains get 50-50 gear oil/chainsaw oil.

Does anyone know why some balers use double pitched chains and can you replace it with a normal one?
