I have a landlord who would like to put some Lucerne down for me.
Have the option to buy the bales, buy the standing crop each cut as and when I want it, buy the ‘crop’ on an annual basis and have the ability to graze lambs on it.
How much would people suggest a standing crop should be worth? Or the field for the year?
In east of England on light veg growing type land.
An indication of growing costs would be helpful too, thanks in advance!
