Macmillan Cancer support

Hi
Hope this is ok to put on here ? If not please just delete.

My wife Kerry is starting a charity challenge today.
6 marathons in 7 days on a cross trainer !
That's right, 42 km each of the 6 days.
A mad challenge but she's up for it I hope.
Kerry was diagnosed with breast cancer last year & very quickly had to have a mastectomy on one side ...
Fortunately she was caught quickly following a regular screening & the RVI at Newcastle were brilliant, she didn't require any chemo or radio treatment, just a 5 year course of hormone pills plus regular follow ups.
Anyway I'm hoping a few of you guys would like to donate a couple of quid, the charity is Macmillan.
I'll pop her just giving link below.
Cheers, every pound appreciated.

Glad to hear that your wife is doing well, and best wishes for a continued recovery leading to a long and happy life.

As for Macmillan, I used to be a strong supporter of the charity, but I'm afraid I feel I can no longer do so, after they showed poor judgement in promoting this campaign, in 2019 and again (after 2019 feedback from myself and others in the industry) in 2020

Again, best wishes to yourself and your wife but I'm afraid that I'm going to put my charitable donations elsewhere.

No worries, I must admit I hadn't realised or heard or meat free march, niether my wife or I are vegans of course, we enjoy a nice bit steak like most people do.

I have to say in their defence they were magnificent with her last year & with my dad in his final weeks several years ago.

If it's offending though please remove the post & I can myself I guess ?
